How the Process Works
Every project is different,
but here is a general outline.
1. I begin by identifying your goals and the
audience for the specific project. We agree
to the scope of the project.
2. Because each project is different, I don’t
have a set fee. However, if you tell me about
your project, I can give you a quote.
3. I require a 50% deposit upfront.
4. Depending on the nature of the project,
I might give you an outline or precede to
preparing the draft.
5. I gather as much information as possible
about your product, service, and market, and
spend a lot of time studying.
6. I speak with your subject matter experts,
as necessary, looking for hidden nuggets of
information and tidbits that can captivate
your customers.
7. I write, and rewrite, and rewrite the material
until I am happy with it, and believe you
and your prospects will be, too.
8. I turn in the material at the agreed upon
deadline. I don’t miss deadlines.
9. You review the material in the agreed upon
time frame.
10. I produce a second draft, if necessary,
based on your review. |
